Release dates for two Atlanta-filmed Ben Affleck movies pushed back
The production of two films in which Ben Affleck plays a prominent role as an actor or director have been put on hold to allow the film industry celebrity to focus on writing his solo Batman movie with Geoff Johns.
The current universe that encompasses the whole Justice League is also suggested to be reworked in favor of the Batman character and his upcoming solo films. “It’s a near finished cut but not locked”, our source tells us. It is directed by Zack Snyder who is known for his films Watchmen, Man of Steel, 300 and Sucker Punch. The couple has been subjected to hundreds of rumors regarding their personal lives with Ben Affleck alleged affair with their children’s nanny becoming the major headline grabbing piece.
As far as Warner’s bosses are concerned, Affleck is considered to be the “definitive Batman” and could be the hub around which the DC movie universe will rotate in future movies. It goes to show how confident Warner Bros. executives are with Affleck’s performance and directing capabilities.
(Very believeable) rumors aside, we likely won’t get confirmation from WB on their new Batman plans until Batman v Superman hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are legally separated and in the process of getting a divorce, and he’s just been exposed as a lying cheat in the media, but they’re still putting on a united front for their 3 children.
For all the various comic book stories of an older and worn down Batman – one of which Affleck is acting out in Batman v Superman – no movie has ever actually had a Batman in action in his mid-50s. There is a speculation that the movie was pushed back to give Affleck room to finish other projects first, reports aceshowbiz.com. Bale was only 38 when The Dark Knight Rises had Batman come out of retirement eight years after The Dark Knight. If these so-called reactions to this opening screening are any kind of a real sign, however, it wouldn’t be a problem.
