Remy targets regular role
Loic Remy targets a regular first-team place for Chelsea next season.
Chelsea have made reinforcements in key positions with Asmir Begovic changing Petr Cech because the second selection goalkeeper and Radamel Falcao becoming a member of on a season-long mortgage.
Remy will hope to be concerned on Sunday when Chelsea face FA Cup winners Arsenal at Wembley within the Community Shield.
Remy was limited to a peripheral role last term, starting just six league matches for the London club as Diego Costa led the line on most occasions.
Remy, who scored seven Premier League goals in 2014-15, told Sky Sports News headquarters: “I want to bring everything I can to the team and I just want to do more as I think this season will be more hard than the previous one”.
Meanwhile, Kurt Zouma believes the mentality of the Chelsea squad will be a major factor in determining whether they are able to successfully defend their league crown.
“After that he was training normally and we thought he would be ready, but this morning he was feeling uncomfortable”, said Jose Mourinho.
