Report details man’s arrest outside Kendall Jenner’s home
LOS ANGELES (AP) – A man arrested outside Kendall Jenner’s Los Angeles home in a stalking case told police he has frequently waited for the model and reality television star to try to talk to her, a police report shows.
A judge on Wednesday issued a temporary restraining order at Jenner’s request.
Kendall then freaked out and called 911, and locked herself in her vehicle until cops arrived and arrested the man in her driveway.
According to the arrest report, Jenner opened the gate to drive onto her property but kept a close eye out, making sure he didn’t follow her.
McKenzie acknowledged he had waited for Jenner outside her residences multiple times, the police report states.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star only bought the house – which previously belonged to Emily Blunt and John Krasinski – two months ago.
According to TMZ.com, McKenzie approached Jenner’s vehicle and banged on the window while yelling, “Can I talk to you?” before assuring anxious Jenner, “Hey look, I don’t have a gun”.
Shavaughn McKenzie – who was charged with misdemeanor stalking after Sunday’s frightening encounter – has tailed the 20-year-old model for a long time, TMZ reports.
She splashed out $6.5 million on the stunning property, which features six bedrooms, five bathrooms and a private swimming pool.
The latest incident occurred outside Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home..
Thanks to the wide and spacious windows, nearly every room in the house has uninterrupted views of the West Hollywood neighbourhood and surrounding nature.
