Republican lawmakers plan investigations after edited Planned Parenthood video

Planned Parenthood is now hitting back on claims that clinics might be illegally selling fetal tissue. Until Planned Parenthood breaks off its abortion/wholesale baby-part business from its women’s health operations, you’re a big investor.

In parts of the video that were edited out, Nucatola makes it clear that Planned Parenthood makes no money from the fetal organs that are collected and shipped to medical labs for research on Parkinson’s disease and other illnesses.

Congress passed a law barring the group from receiving funding soon after a video (later debunked) purported to show an employee agreeing to help a sneak underage prostitutes into the US. As ghastly as this is, let’s not forget that in recent years, workers in Planned Parenthood clinics around the country have been exposed on video lying about their procedures, covering up sexual abuse of children, promoting sex-selective abortion and helping facilitate the sex-trafficking of innocent women. Planned Parenthood has said that it does not profit from those donations but that it sometimes recoups the cost of transporting the organs. Likewise, the Huffington Post insinuates that the Center for Medical Progress, which produced the undercover video, “deceived the Internal Revenue Service… about its mission”.

Erin Ferrero, Planned Parenthood’s vice president of communications, said in a July 14 statement: “There is no financial benefit for tissue donation for either the patient or Planned Parenthood“. The nonprofit was merely negotiating how it would be reimbursed for human tissue – or, as The Associated Press would describe the bartering of aborted baby parts, having a discussion about “the disposition of parts from aborted fetuses”.

“On tape, it appears a Planned Parenthood official is admitting to multiple felonies”, he continued.

These sales are legal.

In his comments on this whole shocking episode, Catholic League’s Bill Donohue recalled that Albert Speer, a top aide to Adolf Hitler, explained in 1971 how he could participate in the Holocaust, the mass murder of the Jews. “I was indifferent to them”. “And at the end of the day, they decided that it’s too touchy an issue for us to be an official middleman”.

Perhaps if Hitler, Himmler, and Mengele had just a had a nicer “tone”. He said Planned Parenthood received about $528 million in taxpayer funding in 2013-14. After all, transparency would allow more women to learn about the valuable service Planned Parenthood purports to offer.

The group also donated just over $30,000 to Herring, a Democrat, most of that also in the form of in-kind services, according to the Virginia Public Access Project, a nonpartisan tracker of money in politics.

“What’s really disturbing”, Carson said, “is the fact that we have become so callous that a lot of people don’t even realize that this is shocking”.

As long as we continue to view unborn children as nothing more than property, the creation or destruction of which we control, it should not be surprising to find that such a perspective is blind to the moral perversion of deliberately killing such children to harvest their body parts.
