Republicans debate Saturday on WHIO-TV Channel 7
CBS News first Republican debate – and the ninth for the party – was watched by 13.5 million viewers on Saturday night.
The six remaining major GOP presidential candidates have all qualified for CBS News’ Republican debate in SC on Saturday night, the network announced Friday.
The debate will now have a smaller amount of candidates as Chris Christie left the race along with Carly Fiorina.
Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Ben Carson and John Kasich have been invited to participate in the debate at the Peace Center in Greenville.
The action kicks off at 9 p.m. ET.

The next Republican debate is for February 25, and it will be in Houston, Texas, airing on CNN and Telemundo. It will be followed by a March 10 debate in Florida on CNN, with more details to come. On the Democratic side, the highest for three debates was a 7.2 on NBC; Thursday’s Democratic gathering did a combined 6.3 rating on CNN and PBS.
