Trump was one of the most prominent people challenging the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate and continues to decline opportunities to say the president was in fact born in the USA – and therefore is eligible for the Oval Office.
C-SPANIt seems like every time we learn something new about Hillary Clinton’s email, we find out that something Hillary Clinton had previously said isn’t true.
CNN’s Don Lemon asked Clinton earlier Wednesday during a radio interview whether she started “the whole birther thing.”
While the Bloomberg poll reflects a competitive three-way race, it should be noted that most other recent public polls have found Clinton with a bigger lead.
“I don’t think it’s in the best interest of what we need to do to combat climate change”, she said in response to a question from a Drake University student.
The paper comes one day after she stunned allies of the Keystone project by announcing opposition to a pipeline she’d once said she was inclined to support, and she called Canadian oil the continent’s dirtiest fuel. But Trump, and others who have made this claim, neglect to mention that there is no direct tie to Clinton or her 2008 campaign. “I know men that are shrill“.
To curb the rising cost of prescription drugs, Ms. Clinton promised to give Medicare bargaining power over drug prices. “You know, honestly, I just believe that-first of all, it’s totally untrue”.
Then there’s the matter of her email server, which was recently turned over to the FBI.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is also attempting to determine how much classified information was stored on Clinton’s personal email server.
The official, speaking anonymously because the FBI investigation is continuing, cautioned that it could be months before the computer forensics work is completed and the emails are recovered and examined. The latest news, though, suggests that regardless of whether Hillary had her server “wiped” clean, investigators will now have the chance to double check at least a portion of Clinton and her team’s work.
An exasperated Clinton said Wednesday to CNN that any suggestions she helped spark the birther movement were “ludicrous”.
