Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 coming to PS4, Xbox One
It will be followed by Resident Evil 5 in the summer, with Resident Evil 4 arriving in the fall, which would be great if it timed with Halloween.
They are not, however, bundled together.
After months of rumors, Capcom has confirmed that it will be bringing the three latest Resident Evil releases to next-generation consoles.
Presumably Resident Evil 4 will also be a port of the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 version, although the game’s had so many updates and re-releases it’d be nice if Capcom made the effort to create some sort of definitive version (which arguably is now the Wii Edition). Resident Evil 6 will also include all of the game’s post-launch content at no additional cost. Both Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 5 feature online co-op.
Resident Evil games put you in the shoes of recurring characters facing global virus outbreaks that threatens to destroy the world.
The description reads: “Play as Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4 as he battles a multitude of threats to rescue the U.S. President’s daughter”.
Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 delivers an epic dramatic horror experience.
