Revamping econ plan, Trump vows tax cuts to ‘jumpstart’ US
Promising a tax overhaul, he said that he would streamline the taxation process and cut tax brackets from seven to three, with bands at 12 per cent, 25 per cent and 33 per cent. Trump didn’t mention that the city had put all its eggs in one basket, the auto industry, which made it vulnerable to the sort of decline.
As Trump began to speak, he was repeatedly interrupted by protesters.
