Rex Ryan: Pats clearly tried to embarrass Bills
“I’m told #Bills RB LeSean McCoy is unlikely to play against the #Giants this weekend, as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury”, Getlin tweets. Coach Rex Ryan was more resistant to that idea, saying he thought McCoy is “still a heck of a player” at his current level of play.
It appears that LeSean McCoy will be rested on Sunday due to a hamstring injury. Buffalo may also be without star wide receiver Sammy Watkins.
The Giants are 1-7 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. It’s my job to make sure we are playing winning defense and I’ve got to get that done. We wish Tyrod Taylor the best of luck throughout this season and going forward. “All of our runs hit the line of scrimmage with a certain timing, and all those backs do it. a few of them have a little different styles from where they go from there but, as far as we go at the point of attack, they’re generally hitting at the same speeds, spot, and tempo”.
The Jets, in their first overseas regular-season game, will try to bounce back against an already discombobulated Miami team.
Watkins missed part of the preseason with a groin injury and had offseason surgery on his hip.
Through three games, Taylor is completing 74.4 percent of his passes for 714 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Buffalo Bills took the practice field Wednesday in preparation for their Week 4 matchup against the New York Giants without their two best offensive players. “I’m not all the way over the Brady butt-kicking he did against us”, Ryan said, notes Pro Football Talk. While McCoy struggled, rookie Karlos Williams stepped in and had a monster performance, carrying the ball 12 times for 110 yards and a touchdown.
Like Williams said, nothing changes on Sunday. I think I will let our experts look at that. Even if McCoy plays, Williams has earned his share of the workload.
