I love him to death, and he’s a great coach and a great guy”.

Even more impressive though was Cannon’s leaping touchdown in the fourth quarter. “I’ll just take it day by day”. It’s not effort. But, we have receivers who are running routes that are off their landmarks. The Bears also had several dropped passes, something that’s become an unwanted trend in the first three games.

His freshman year’s production crashed down to earth, though, only scoring thrice more with other receivers getting involved more. You want to know why Baylor attempted six fourth down conversions in the first two games this season and went for it two more times on Friday?

This will be Rice’s home opener and the Owls must find a way to get its offense going.
