Rihanna and Drake Release TWO Music Videos for “Work”
In the “Work” video, Rihanna shakes her booty and twerks while dancing in a club with collaborator Drake.
In 2012, Drake released the video for “Practice” in which a dancer is pictured (seemingly) alone in a room, gyrating in front of a mirror, until – surprise! Most of Lady Gaga’s post-Bad Romance and pre-jazz videos were more like mini-movies than three minutes of product placement and a bit of a dance.
The restaurant, which Drake often visits, was closed for a day and a half to accommodate the shoot earlier this month.
And there’s more: The official video seems to be a two-for-one.
As reported by the Inquisitr, Rihanna truly brought out her handsome Saint Michael, Barbados, accent for “Work” – and the music video for “Work” has the feel of an informal party with beer and sweaty hotness – far away from a Hollywood type of party. They trade places during the rapper’s verse, but not long enough to shake the video’s overall misogynistic tone.
A typical Drake music video generally goes thusly: Attractive female musician appears. The lead single features Drake and is just one of two non-solo tracks on Rihanna’s eighth studio album, ANTI.
Outtakes from her B**ch Better Have My Money release a year ago show the confident star in a see-through plastic dress and a white thong, although those scenes didn’t make the final cut.
