According to Women’s Wear Daily, Rihanna’s three-year deal will consist of designing socks for Stance as well as becoming the company’s brand ambassador under the “Punks and Poets” team. Undeniably, Prada’s sock odyssey has been a big influence on others – from Kanye West’s collection for Adidas to Alexander Wang’s marathon runner-style compression socks for H&M. Inspired by Bad Gal Riri and in honor of her appointment, Stance is launching an exclusive “Murder Rih Wrote” collection of over-the-knee and crew-cut socks.

Rihanna’s first complete Stance sock collection will be unveiled this fall and will be available globally. The capsule will consist of 18 styles and will retail between $18 to $28. The Stance women’s division VP adds, “Socks are not really a trend; they’re a fashion staple”. “It makes her an original”.
