Riley goes on her first date is new ‘Inside Out’ short preview

“Riley’s First Date” is Pixar’s new short that comes along on the forthcoming “Inside Out” DVD, Blu-Ray and digital release and features, you guessed it, Riley is going on her first date with the boy that she bumps into at the very end of the film.

Her parents are naturally concerned about the news, and their emotions run appropriately wild. The short will be part of the package when Inside Out hits the home video market later this year. He’s back, and ready to take the 12-year-old on a date.

Throughout the film, we also see the areas of Long Term Memory, Imagination Land, Abstract Thought and Dream Production-all visualized as places in the mind. Rileys parents, voiced by Kyle MacLachlan and Diane Lane, are, understandably, freaked out when an adolescent boy shows on their doorstep.

The inner workings of Riley’s dad’s brain go into red alert at the sight of the big-haired, mouth-breathing gentleman, as Riley’s mom, equally panicked, tries to play it cool. And you can probably guess what it’s all about.

If you want to get your hands on Rileys First Date, you’ll have to wait just a bit.
