Rio Olympics kept NBC on top with viewers again last week

The U.S. Olympic Team made itself right at home in Rio. These 16 days let the people of each nation show their pride for where they live, and allows the athletes to prove that they are the best in the world and have the ability to bring a medal to the nation you are representing.
The five worked together to win the gold medal in the team all-around: a marathon of events including the balance beam, the floor exercise, uneven bars and the vault.

“I know from my clients that they were very happy to be advertising within the games and to have a vehicle that brought in big numbers in a fragmented market place”, said Andy Donchin, chief investment officer at Amplifi, the global buying arm of media company the Dentsu Aegis Network. This is an increase of 8 % compared to results of a similar survey made by IBOPE in July, a few weeks before the Rio 2016 Olympics.
With the Games no longer a distraction, Brazil gets back to the dour reality of political and economic crises. To lead off the list of its problems, Brazil is in the process of impeaching its president.
