Rise Of The Tomb Raider due on PS4 Christmas 2016
PlayStation 4 users, however, will have much longer to wait.
The first true portion of gameplay was shown at this year’s E3 press briefing, giving fans a glimpse into how Rise of the Tomb Raider both looks and handles before its holiday launch.
Last year developer Crystal Dynamics said Xbox exclusivity would “put Tomb Raider on top of action adventure gaming”, with Xbox adding it would be for the good of the series.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced as an Xbox exclusive, but Crystal Dynamics game is only a timed exclusive.
The Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions will be released on November 10 this year, while the Windows 10 and Steam version will be released in ‘early 2016′.
In the critically acclaimed Tomb Raider, Lara Croft survived a harrowing experience only to be discredited as part of a cover up. However, NX Gamer has not edited his comments on the analysis video and apologized for his mistake on Rise of the Tomb Raider’s resolution. However, Horton has now confirmed via a tweet that Rise of the Tomb Raider will indeed run with the said resolution.
Square and Microsoft will be hoping that Rise of the Tomb Raider proves to be a big hit on the Xbox consoles in order to justify the game’s timed exclusivity. Will it make you want to buy an Xbox one?
