Rise of the Tomb Raider Gamescom 2015 Walkthrough Released

Today the Rise of the Tomb Raider Gamescom Demo video was released for us all to see. You can check out the newly released footage just below. Rise of the Tomb Raider takes Lara to a pharaoh’s tomb in northwestern Syria to study the ancient mysteries within and recover an artifact before a militarized group of mercenaries blow the place to bits.

The demo was first shown to attendees at Gamescom last week, but is now available for all to watch online.

This latest gameplay demo, which is more than 13 minutes long, sees Lara exploring a dry, dusty canyon area after being in a violent jeep accident (of course).

The sequel to the acclaimed 2013 Tomb Raider reboot is primarily set in the frozen wilds of Siberia, and will send Lara on a hunt for the lost secrets of immortality. A “Tomb Raider” comic marks the return of the British daredevil in “Lara Croft and the Frozen Omen #2”.

The new Tomb Raider game “Underworld” comes out on November 21, 2008. This footage dives further into the exploratory nature of the game and gives us a sneak peek of some tomb raiding. It looks like the game will dole out small XP rewards for solving puzzles and surviving traps, a welcome addition for players who would rather not earn all of their XP by gunning down enemies. A PC release will follow in early 2016, and it also heads to PlayStation 4 in Fall 2016.
