Rita Ora calls Simon Cowell ‘rude’ during Six Chair Challenge spat
This evening see the return of the dramatic Six Chair Challenge, promising a few awesome performances alongside equally agonising decisions for the judges.
Simon Cowell causes controversy on The X Factor 2015 tonight after he’s handed the Overs category.
From the auditions to the live shows, it’s not easy for X Factor contestants to make it to the end stages of the competition.
In tonight’s episode of the reality TV show, the judges will finally be shown which category the public have voted for them to mentor, but the news wasn’t well received.
Before show hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack read out the results, Cowell says: “I want the Girls, the Groups, the Boys and then the Overs”.
SIMON COWELL throws a strop after finding out that the public voted for him to mentor the over-25’s for the second year running – and was even close to demanding a recount.
“Oh, for f**k’s sake – are you winding me up?” “Can I have a look?”
When Cazza and Ols confirm that actually, they’re telling the truth, Simon leaves the stage as he turns to the audience and snaps: “Thank you very much”.
Backstage the Overs – who had been celebrating – are left upset.
Simon then mouths to Cheryl: “I am so pissed off”.
The X Factor head was unrepentant and insisted he was right, but the Darlington singer’s fate rests with 24-year-old Rita, now mentoring the Girls.
And with the groups for the first time, Cheryl says: “I think it’s time I stood out of my comfort zone”.
X Factor is on ITV at 7pm tonight.
