‘Riyad Mahrez to stay at Leicester City in January’

Mahrez signed a new four-year contract with the club, which looks to have been a smart decision for both parties after the Algerian worldwide winger has set the Premier League alight.

The free-scoring midfielder is being linked with Tottenham and Manchester United.

Alongside team-mate Jamie Vardy, Mahrez’s rise to ruling the Premier League this season has been one of the more pleasant surprises for any neutral, and his surge appears to be more than a mere flash in the pan. “Maybe they want to go one side, I want to go one side, we have to go together”.

Although he didn’t perform notably in the club’s first season back in the top tier, he’s thrived under the guidance of Claudio Ranieri.

Manchester United are plotting a move for Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez in the January transfer window, according to reports. Daniel Storey of Football 365 compared Mahrez’s run of form to Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard last season.

Meanwhile the 24-year-old has admitted he has no intention of leaving Leicester over the winter, especially considering their incredible start to the 2015/16 campaign.
