RNC: Mitch McConnell Thinks It’s Exhilarating To Be Shot At

McConnell, the six-term Kentucky senator, said that despite disagreeing with Trump’s comments, they did not raise questions about his fitness to occupy the White House.

– McConnell’s speech was receiving much better reviews than Ryan’s. Now, we’re not sure where she is. “But you’ll find me right there on the rostrum with Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald Trump”. She carefully avoided mentioning Trump or even “the nominee”, whom she has still not formally endorsed. Rubio has signaled that he will vote for Trump but is absent this week. “We need Latinos in our party, we need more women in the party, and I’ve raised it with him over the phone that I felt this is something that never should have happened and ought to be taken care of”.
