Robert Kraft embarrasses Roger Goodell in Super Bowl LI postgame speech

Tom Brady’s fifth Super Bowl win was made a bit sweeter by the presence of his mother, who hasn’t attended any of her son’s games this season due to an illness.

Brady was gracious when accepting the Lombardi trophy from Commissioner Goodell just after his win on Sunday night, and at a press conference with the Commissioner yesterday.

Brady was famously suspended for the first four games of this season for his role in “Deflategate”.

Man, that was a lot of boos. “I told our fans that was the sweetest one of all, but a lot has transpired during the last two years”, said the Papa Bear of Foxboro. “My family has always been a great support system for me”. You can’t forget about Mohamed Sanu either, so Gabriel and the Atlanta running backs should receive plenty of opportunities in the passing game. “I think James White deserves it”, said Brady. He said he did not know what they were.

“Fortunately we have a great personnel staff. but, I mean, the whole league’s probably looking at the (early March) combine, obviously the (late April) draft, all-star games have already occurred, and then in a month we’re in free agency”. There’s something about New England’s collective smugness and (admittedly) earned privilege that never fails to set my teeth on edge, so I tend to root against them.

It turns out that it is the new version of an ad that was recorded past year.

“Mom is doing better”, he said. In that game, Tom quarterbacked the New England Patriots to a 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

While it isn’t a record, it is impressive that the Pats scored on their final five possessions (not counting that 3-second possession at the end of the fourth quarter) with four touchdowns and a field goal.
