Robin Wright reveals she will star in Justice League
I knew that if I didn’t write this week about the Wonder Woman film that I would have to consider myself a failure as both a journalist and a geek. However, Nielsen, who plays Hippolyta, Queen of Themyscira and mother of Diana/Wonder Woman, divulged an intriguing tidbit about the character’s future, namely that she and Robin Wright’s Antiope will have a role in Justice League.
The upcoming superhero movie will also star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg.
It turns out Warner Bros. made a major error while making “Wonder Woman”, and the studio is likely to pay for it. Further details emerged confirming Jenkins did not even have an option to return built into her contract as Warner Bros. wanted to see how the film was received before locking the director in for a sequel. Other popular tweets about “Wonder Woman” came from various accounts such as Stephen Colbert, Joss Whedon, Chris Evans and the original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter. It’s nice to be able to see one of these movies and not have to ask if protagonist really counts as a “good guy” (assuming, of course, that Diana counts as a “guy”). She doesn’t have the broken past, she’s not seeking revenge on people that wronged her. The female warriors are definitely a welcomed addition to the male-dominated comic book movie community. Ho-Ho – she’s too literal in her interpretation of the phrase “sleeping together”. It’s a movie that’s very hard to predict, at least when it comes to success. “I love the world, and we are all very excited about it”.
Meanwhile, Gal recently admitted she loved wearing her “super-strong and sexy” Wonder Woman outfit in the new movie. She also praised the defense force’s military actions in Gaza in 2014 in a Facebook post at the time; an act that was protested by the general public on a massive scale.
Wonder Woman is set to open as scheduled during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan across cinemas in Oman on June 22 and Bahrain on June 29. The movie is 141 minutes long.
