Rocket League getting “Supersonic Fury” DLC in August
A DLC pack is headed towards Rocket League next month.
In addition to the paid DLC, a free update is coming to Rocket League which adds a new arena, spectator mode, 3v3 ranked battles, over 70 flags from around the world, special customisation items and new music. The pack includes two new body types (Dominus and Takumi), two additional boosts, two wheel types, five paint styles, and six unique decals. (You can hear a bit of it in the trailer above.).
Rocket League sells for $19.99 on the PC, but it was offered up as one of July’s PlayStation Plus games on the PlayStation 4. “This is just the beginning!”
With new details now available, we take a look at the five most important things to know about the Rocket League Supersonic Fury release for PS4.
Has Rocket League infiltrated your dreams yet?
Rocket League itself is currently available as a free game for PlayStation Plus members through August 3, so if you haven’t downloaded it already, now would be a smart time to do so. Quick Chat has also been expanded and now has cross platform support for PC and PS4. Some bugs include invisible cars being on the playing field and even matchmaking issues between players.
Along with the Supersonic Fury DLC pack will come the first major update to Rocket League, promising to fix some issues and improve the experience in big and small ways.
Psyonix also pledges to bring updated goal explosions and demolitions, as well as a brand new song called “Firework” from electronic group Hollywood Principle.
