Rockets’ Lawson suspended two games, reportedly on trading block
Lawson was arrested in L.A. on July 14th after cops say he was wasted and speeding down the 101 Freeway at 2:30 AM.

Houston Rockets star Ty Lawson will NOT go to jail for his 2nd DUI this year – getting 4 years probation after entering a “no contest” plea in his L.A. court case.
Lawson is having a career-worst season, averaging only 5.9 points and 4.2 assists per-game, while shooting a putrid 32 percent from the floor. The Rockets are already in the mist of a struggling season, with a losing record, and they are about to lose Lawson for a pair of games, according to Yahoo!
Lawson is a point guard that needs to the ball to be effective; the problem is – they already have a ball-dominant guard that’s effective in Harden. Both parties would be better off without the other. The Rockets got Howard involved into the offense early, scoring on three of their first four possessions. Although he opened the season as the team’s starting point guard, he was quickly relegated to a reserve role following a disappointing start.
As for the Rockets, Lawson is on the a year ago of his contract after relinquishing his player option to facilitate his arrival to Houston.
Wojnarowski added that the Rockets’ front office is working with Lawson’s representation to find possible trades, in a search for more playing time elsewhere.
The latter portion of that statement should have Clutch City fans wondering about Lawson’s tenure with Houston.
