Rohit Shetty recreates ‘DDLJ’ magic, SRK thankful

20 years now and the film is still ruling the hearts of the audiences with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s magic.

With the Aditya Chopra directorial, Shah Rukh and Kajol made their characters – a fun loving London-bred Punjabi boy Raj and NRI simpleton Simran – eternal and created a permanent place in the history of Indian cinema.

Shah Rukh, who last worked with Shetty in the 2013 film “Chennai Express”, later thanked him for recreating the “DDLJ” moment for him and Kajol. In the new image SRK can be seen “picking Kajol again” in his arms. And apparently, Team Rohit Shetty and Red Chillies, with whose help they did that were really happy with the outcome.

You will feel old, really old reading this because 20 years have gone by. “Should do a pic together with her!”.

Shah Rukh wrote: “Celebrated enough tonight with “Dilwale” team”.

Not just this, Rohit has even shot a special video for the special movie which will be soon expected to hit SRK’s twitter handle. The documentary features anecdotes from Johar, Uday Chopra, who both were assistant directors in DDLJ, late Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela, Kher among others. The super romantic film will never be forgotten and even after watching thousand times, we are sure nobody can get over the lovely film. It was thus predictable that kajol and SRK recreate this iconic pose.
