Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood set to become a father again
Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood is reportedly preparing to become a father to twins at the age of 68.
The guitarist’s wife of three years, 37-year-old Sally Humphreys, is pregnant with the couple’s first children, and the Rolling Stones star can not contain his excitement.
It’s refreshing to hear Ronnie’s change of heart regarding children given he previously had this to say on the matter: “It’s tough when you get to my age…” The twins with third wife Sally, are due to be born next June. PA When Ronnie met Sally “Needless to say, they are thrilled and overjoyed with the wonderful news”. They were married in December 2012 in London’s swanky Dorchester hotel having dated for just a few months. Clearly we’ve talked about it a considerable amount, and you can ask him and his reaction would be, “Well, that would be pleasant”.
In addition to four children, Wood has nine grandchildren. His eldest is Jesse Wood, husband of Radio One host Fearne Cotton, from his first marriage to Krissie Findlay who died in 2005.
He has two other children, Leah, 36, and Tyrone, 30 with second wife Jo. Ronnie and Jo divorced in 2009 after 24 years following his fling with 19-year-old cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.
Sally – who has never taken drugs and barely drinks – has been credited as a sobering influence on the wild guitar icon.
