Romanowski apologizes for tweet about Cam Newton
I will still root for my Panthers, but I am going to have big issues with Cam Newton moving forward.
While Scott’s co-host Justin Myers said he gets irritated when people want good losers, Scott said Newton abandoned those who defended his emotional celebrations, dancing and overall exuberance on and off the field. I think the media, at times, feels as though they’re more important than the game itself.
Cam Newton (above) didn’t get enough help from his teammates in the Super Bowl. Life is about wins and failures and learning from our mistakes. “When Cam watches this, he’s gonna learn from it”.
Having said all of this, the video below, in my opinion, is the REAL reason why Cam left the podium? You can see the look on his face, and it’s not a pleasant one. After this type of game, or any game for that matter, but especially one of this magnitude, there should never be two players from opposite teams that close together during post game interviews.
So how much will a player like, say, Cam Newton have to pay for playing in the Super Bowl?
During the Super Bowl, the former National Football League player, who mind you has been accused of being racist, tweeted an unkind remark about Newton and ended the post with the word, “boy”. But is Curry to a degree also admitting that if he loses the NBA Finals, he’s not sure if he would do the same thing? Were the media heads laughing and “gooing” over Riley Curry as she bounced around on her dads lap while LeBron was 20 feet away trying to internalize loosing the biggest game of the year? Cam isn’t like anyone else, and that’s what makes him special.
