While Romo is still recovering from a broken collar bone, it’s not unreasonable to expect Bryant to jump back into the first tier of fantasy receivers when the QB returns. Instead of being blown off the ball, Gerald held his own, penetrated and wreak havoc with the Cowboy’s potent running game.

There’s no doubt that the Dallas Cowboys will be in better shape this week, with Tony Romo under center, than they have any time in the past eight weeks.

Weeden was benched in favor of Matt Cassel prior to Week 7.

Good month: The Bucs still have two games in November, which is a good thing by recent trends. That’s a difference of 217 yards a game. Martin broke one 18-yard run, but only averaged 3.8 yards per carry. One was the awful Christmas night loss to the Eagles in 2006, and another was the season-ender against the Redskins the following year. If Tampa Bay leaves with a win, then the Eagles will be in a few real serious trouble moving forward. Typically, an opposing QBR that low results in a victory.

In light of Deadspin’s release of photographs of Hardy’s ex-girlfriend from the night of his arrest, many have called for the Cowboys to cut him. He has a chance to play Sunday at Philadelphia. The Cowboys bucked one trend and forced two huge takeaways, but they completely negated those with a late flag that canceled out a Jameis Winston fumble, as well a a game-ending interception in the end zone by Matt Cassel. He also said that he had a sense of peace about him throughout the game. And there’s the only other bit of good news from Sunday: Yay! If the Cowboys manage to beat the Dolphins in Miami, it will be the 63rd day since their last victory.
