Ron Rivera says Thomas Davis, Jared Allen to start Super Bowl 50

Two key defensive players for the Super Bowl-bound Carolina Panthers, linebacker Thomas Davis and defensive end Jared Allen, are looking good to play in the biggest game of the National Football League (NFL) this season.

Davis, an All-Pro outside linebacker for the Panthers, broke his arm during the AFC title match against the Arizona Cardinals. The day after, he had screws and a metal plate inserted into his arm.

“I really was real pleased with what we got from both those guys”.

“As evening approaches, prepare your football finest and take advantage of the kitchen – it’s where I (and my mom) spend most of the time preparing for big games!” he says. He was limited in practice Wednesday, but practiced fully Thursday and Friday. The Bears made it to Super Bowl XLI, but lost to the Peyton Manning led Indianapolis Colts.

Allen has finally achieved the goal of making the Super Bowl with a good chance of winning it. He has set the goal from Day 1 of his career to win one because accepting failure or a team in building mode doesn’t compute with him. He was traded from Chicago to Carolina in late September.

When it comes to the Super Bowl, not even a broken arm will keep dedicated players from participating in the championship game.

A reporter said, “Coach, your team is loose, and that’s something that you always encourage”. “[It’s] been great. When I first signed here and knowing just the type of talent that we had in the secondary, let alone the whole team, it was special”. It is family, family, family.

“That goes to show you just how fickle this can be and how fate, in the end, has these two guys now playing for the ultimate prize a short while a year later”, CBS analyst Jim Nantz said.

Davis is angry at former New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison.

Cam Newton is still the quarterback, Ron Rivera is still the head coach and their coordinators are the same, too. Like I said, I just had surgery Monday and that’s something that you have to deal with when you’re coming back from surgery, but it’s leaving.

The 3D arm brace is meant to prevent any further injury if Davis is cleared to play.
