Ronda Rousey Bud Light Super Bowl Commercial With Seth Rogen & Amy Schumer
Watch some of our favorite 2016 Super Bowl commercials below. Rogen weighs in with a bunch of lines from “Independence Day” – which incidentally has a sequel hitting films this summer – before the duo teams up to proclaim that “America has seen the Light and there’s a Bud in front of it”.
The brand has roped Weiden+Kennedy from NY to design a commercial that taps into the whole political thing that is so hot these days following sentimental statements and aggressive promises from nominated candidates.
Ronda Rousey featured in a Bud Light commercial alongside Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen during Super Bowl 50 yesterday. Also, great use of the Bud Light brand throughout.
What works – Great use of Amy and Seth as the stars of the commercial, and to go along with that we have a nice cameo from Paul Rudd in here, as well!
This year, a 30-second spot for the Super Bowl broadcast cost a record $5 million.
Surprisingly though, it wasn’t a celebrity that left a lasting impression on viewers, because the most jaw-dropping commercial of this year’s Super Bowl was Doritos’ rather terrifying ultrasound/childbirth ad. To summarise, it saw an unborn baby escaping the womb after sensing the presence of Doritos during a routine scan.
After Ronda blocked a number of questions directed at Amy and Seth, he said, “You’re very good at this”. Alexander Lambrecht had told the media a month earlier that their new ad was to press upon recent themes and we now know that it is nothing but “politics”.
