Ronda Rousey Signs WWE Contract, Puts Triple H Through A Table

Back in January, former UFC champion Ronda Rousey officially announced she’d signed a deal with WWE, and since then people have been frothing over the propect of her first official WWE match. After Angle told Rousey what Triple H and Stephanie’s true feelings are towards her, Rousey responded by putting The Game through the table setup in the ring. Triple H walks back over but Rousey scoops him and slams him through the table.

Divulging details about Ronda Rousey’s contract, Triple H said that she didn’t want any perks, no special travel, and no free cars. Rousey says she wouldn’t be here at all if it weren’t for her hero, the late WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper. “… They want to put their thumb on you and keep you down”.

KurWhen the dust settled Angle had been removed from the building, and the UFC icon had thrown Triple H through a table.

Christened “Rowdy” – in homage to late wrestling legend Roddy Piper – Rousey received a standing ovation from the excited crowd as they chanted her name for nearly a minute.

“The night definitely could have gone smoother”, she said after the event.

Well, this segment got off to a bit of a slow start and took a bumpy road with Rousey getting emotional and Kurt Angle fluffing a few lines – but, man, it sure made up for it in the end!

Ronda went face-to-face with Steph, only for Triple H to step in the middle of it all. Rousey shoved Triple H’s arm. And we know some of you hate that any reference to Rousey and the WWE appears on this site, like, ever.

Stephanie slapped Rousey in revenge, before making a quick getaway. She will partake in her first match at WrestleMania on April 8. It now looks as tough we’re heading towards Rousey and Angle vs. It seemed like everything was going fine (well, with the exception of Rousey’s mic work), and they even announced that Ronda would be competing at WrestleMania.
