Ronda Rousey Vows to “Be Back” After UFC Defeat to Holly Holm

There’s been a built up “rivalry” between Floyd and former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, to the point where someone ridiculously suggested that they set up a superfight under MMA rules.

“I haven’t really spoke to anyone about the Ronda Rousey situation, just to set the record straight”, Mayweather told Fight Hype, following the accusations.

“This fight was a lot for me, mentally”.

“But after she was hospitalized following her loss, plans to have Rousey star in the ‘Road House” remake, due to start shooting in early 2016 may have been scaled back.

The ref called the fight after a couple more blows to the face, and a dazed and bloody Rousey was reportedly hospitalised following her crippling defeat.

Holm did admit, though, that she doesn’t want to take away from her own dominant victory.

“I don’t think it’s cool how everyone is trolling her on social media”, Mayweather said. Certain things you have to learn.

“Don’t get me wrong”, Holm said.

At the post-fight press conference, Holm said: “Rematch makes sense for sure”.

Lailla Ali, the daughter of Muhammad Ali and an unbeaten boxer who is now retired was critical of Rousey as well. “I don’t know about this fight, I just know that you win some and you lose some”. I think she can watch the tape and see what she needs to work on. She’s done even better in the ring-Rousey knocked out her previous two opponents in 34, and 14 seconds, respectively. “It’s all about timing and inches”.

“In order to be the best in the world, you definitely don’t ever get beat up like that in your prime, period”.
