In the comedy arena it was “Master of None” that won the top prize, while “Mr. Robot” won Best Drama Series.
Amy Schumer got the Best Actress in a Comedy award for her role in “Trainwreck”, and she also took the Critics’ Choice MVP Award. Sly had been roundly criticized for not acknowledging either of them at the Golden Globes, although he apparently did, after his mic was turned off.

“I am plus-plus-size actress Amy Schumer”, she began to the roaring laughter of the audience.
