Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale welcome first child together

“I had a baby on Monday, yes”, Cannavale shared with Colbert, while also admitting that he hadn’t really done much except eat since the baby arrived.

Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne are officially parents! “Could be wrong. I’m exhausted”.

Rose and Bobby reportedly started dating back in 2012. Cannavale joked that he’s “gained 28 pounds since Monday”. He revealed that he and the Australian actress, 36, had welcomed a baby boy into the world on February 1st and had named him Rocco.

She added, “I’m not a good cook, but seeing someone enjoy what you’ve made is so satisfying”.

“I had a baby on Monday, yes”, he smiled.

He also told Colbert that baby Rocco is “doing well”.

Byrne first showed off her baby bump in October but she and Cannavale didn’t speak publicly about the pregnancy.

The TV host asked if the newborn was named after Saint Rocco to which Bobby replied: “Actually, yeah, patron saint of the sick … pretty sure”.

It’s the first child for Byrne but Cannavale already has a 10-year-old son, Jake, from his marriage to screenwriter Jenny Lumet, which ended in 2003.

Congratulations Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale! While not all couples would enjoy the experience of being on set together, Rose has said it works for them.
