Rosie O’Donnell’s 17-Year-Old Daughter Is Reportedly Missing
She apparently left home with her therapy dog, a six-month-old black terrier named ‘Bear’.
“Nyack, New York police authorities have been looking for [Chelsea] in the Rockland County area since Sunday, August 16”.
Chelsea O’Donnell had been last seen a week ago, the TV personality said in apost to her website.
A statement about the situation was posted to a blog on O’Donnell’s website Tuesday. Chelsea suffers from mental illness, according to her mother’s spokeswoman, Cindi Berger.
O’Donnell, former host of The View, tweeted that her daughter may be in New York City, which is about 40 kilometres south of her home in Nyack, N.Y.
At the height of the search, the actress’ rep disclosed information about the 17-year-old’s health, “Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness”.
But around 6 hours later, O’Donnell returned to Twitter to say that Chelsea had been found and was “safe in police custody”. She then appeared and left with police without incident, Germain said. Berger said before Chelsea was found. She appealed to the public for help and initially thought her daughter might be in New York City.
