Rowling e-books about Hogwarts coming in September
“Pottermore Presents is a collection of J.K. Rowling’s writing: short reads originally featured on pottermore.com with some exclusive new additions, ‘ the description reads”.
“Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide” will take a closer look at the wizarding school where Harry Potter and his friends learned the ways of magic.
Whilst watching the film, you will experience a symphony orchestra performing music to the movie, which will make it come more to life. That translates to more than $33,000. “This copy is in excellent condition – one of the very best I’ve seen – and we’re expecting a lot of interest”.
As all things must do, the Harry Potter series eventually ended.
The bestselling author will release three new short e-books in September “that dig deep into the Harry Potter stories”, Pottermore announced on Wednesday.
Of course, Pottermore’s focus is selling Hogwarts merchandise, not providing a marketing channel for non-Rowling brands.
Isn’t it wonderful that in 2016, nearly 10 years out from the final Harry Potter novel, fans of the series will still show up at a bookstore, at midnight, to get their hands on a physical copy of the next chapter of Harry’s story? Rather than the lengthy Harry Potter books we’re all used to, these ebooks will be much more digestible at about 10,000 words each.
The books will be sold by various e-book retailers and on the Pottermore website.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint alongside Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane and the late Alan Rickman as Snape.
JK Rowling recently claimed she was “done” with Harry Potter but it looks like she just can’t keep away.
There is a catch: they won’t be full-length Harry Potter novels, nor will they will be available to purchase in your local bookstore. The books are available for pre-order now and will be published on September 6, a little less than halfway between the play’s publication and the release of Fantastic Beasts.
