Royal Toddler’s Birthday Bash with the Visit from the Queen
22 July was a big day in London. Kingston palace was decorated with balloons by fans. Prince George’s family and closest friends came together to celebrate his first birthday.
The royal toddler turned 1 on July 22. On this occasion Kate Middleton and Prince William, released new pictures of their precious son. Both parents thanked everyone at home and overseas for wishing their son. They said, “We would like to take this opportunity on George’s first birthday to thank everyone over the last year, wherever we have met them, both at home and overseas, for their warm and generous good wishes to George and our family.”
A very special private event was also planned. George’s home in Kensington Palace was the party place! This party was attended by George’s grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton .Uncles James Middleton and Prince Harry also attended the party. Pippa Middleton, Zara Phillips, and her husband, Mike Tindall as well as Kate’s close friends Emilia d’Erlanger were also seen at the venue with gifts. Friends and family members started entering the venue at around 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Carole Middleton, was one of the first guests to arrive, she was followed by Jamie Lowther–Pinkerton.
The queen was also seen to attend the occasion at 4 PM and she was there for around 50 minutes. But due to royal duties Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Camilla could not attend the birthday party. Before starting the party, George went to visit his great grandfather at Buckingham Palace with Kate and his nanny.
Other people who attended the party were the future king’s grandfather Michael Middleton, godmother Zara Phillips who is also Prince William’s first cousin and her husband Mike Tindall, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, godmother Julia Samuel who was a close friend of late Princess Diana, and Kate’s school friend Emilia Jardine-Paterson, and George’s former nanny Jessie Webb.
