Rubio And Cruz Release Tax Returns, Piling Pressure On Donald Trump
In Tennessee, Trump leads Cruz by 18 points, 40 percent to 22 percent, while Rubio gets 19 percent, Carson 9 percent and Kasich at 6 percent.
Cruz tells CBS’ “Face the Nation” that “there is no doubt that if Donald steamrolls through Super Tuesday, wins everywhere with big margins, that he may well be unstoppable”.

Ramping up the ante against Mr Trump, Mr Rubio has described the NY billionaire as a cone artist and risky for the party.

Cruz and Rubio took aim at Trump while holding back on attacks on each other, but, the most successful criticism of Trump may have come hours earlier on Twitter from the last man to hold the nomination – Mitt Romney – who alleged that Trump’s confidential tax returns contain highly damaging information.
Christie said he plans to help Trump with “whatever he needs” throughout the rest of the campaign.
Just two days before what Ted Cruz said “could well be the most important day of the entire primary process”, the Texas senator ratcheted up his attacks on GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday by raising questions about the businessman’s refusal to release his tax returns.
“I don’t think that will happen”, Cruz said, urging voters to turn to him to defeat Trump and nominate a “proven conservative, which is what it’s going to take to beat” Democrat Hillary Clinton.
“Rubio said he’s gonna work as hard as he can as long as he can to win the Republican nomination”.
Cruz is loved by many anti-establishment Texan Republicans but his anti-Washington talk has alienated more mainstream members of the party. “Now he’s trying to do the same thing to Republican voters”, Rubio said.
Mr Christie and Mr Trump dominated the headlines on Friday when the governor announced he was endorsing the real estate mogul.
“I don’t know what he means by refuse”.
“What I will tell you is, Donald Trump can’t be Hillary Clinton”.
Trump, who has won three of the four Republican primaries, is leading in all states that will vote on “Super Tuesday” except Texas, according to opinion polls.
