Rubio making 2 more stops in Arkansas before primary
The road to the White House this year runs through Arkansas, with four presidential hopefuls booking flight plans through the state as its primary approaches.
Democrat Hillary Clinton along with Republicans Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio announced plans Wednesday to campaign in the state during the weekend leading up to Arkansas’ primary on Tuesday.
Tennessee and Arkansas voters who have not had the chance to cast their ballots yet can do so on Super Tuesday, which is March 1.
This will be the Cruz campaign’s third stop in Arkansas.
Rubio’s Arkansas chairman, state Sen.
Sen. Hester tells 40/29 News that Rubio’s campaign wants to return to Arkansas on Monday, but has not finalized details yet.
Trump will stop at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport on Saturday (Feb. 27) at 12 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
