Rumored 10-inch iPad to feature smaller bezel and digital Home button
Like Samsung, Apple plans to launch its first devices of the genre in 2017, according to rumors.
If accurate, the latest claims help paint a picture of the next iPad and iPhone that’s awfully similar to the new Mi Mix smartphone from China-based Xiaomi.
The redesign will see the bigger iPad Pro keep the same plus sized screen, but only take up as much space as the 9.7 inch models.
The top bezel, containing the front-facing FaceTime camera, is expected to remain mostly unchanged. Smaller bezels mean that Apple’s palm rejection technology will be working overtime on this new tablet.
Additionally, reports reveal that a tablet measuring 10.5 inches will be debuting next year, with production slated to commence in December. The company will supposedly introduce a new 10.9-inch iPad Pro that will lose its Home button, sport an nearly bezel-free display and maintain the overall size of that of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
Apple iPad Pros: “The 12.9” 128GB Apple iPad Pro is available now at Best Buy for $799.99, reduced from $899.99 (Best Buy is also offering free shipping on all items).
The current Apple iPad Pro was displayed during an Apple media event in San Francisco, California, September 9, 2015. Though this is not yet confirmed by Apple, many iPad users are hoping the size and the weight will not have a bad effect on their overall user experience. However, the side and the bottom bezel will be thinner to a large extent.
The Apple A10X SoC is going to be powering the 10.9 and 12.9-inch one, so we’re excited to see the level of performance being exhibited from both products.
The MacBook Pro introduced us to an aluminum design that was different from the polycarbonate design of the original MacBook. The iPad Mini 4 (32GB) is also on sale at Walmart, available at $379.
