Rumour: Destiny 2 is coming September 8, PC included
According to a poster that looks to be in Italian, the cover for Destiny 2 along with the Destiny 2 release date have been leaked.
The image appears to depict Destiny 2, with a projected launch date of September 8. Additionally, the leak appears to confirm both the release date and a multi-stage beta test. However, an exact date for when that eagerly anticipated event may happen has not been announced just yet, though it may have been leaked already. As far as the September 8th date this may only apply to Europe as games here in the US tend to debut on Tuesdays.
We’ll keep you updated as Bungie or Activision respond. There are rumors which say that the upcoming game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and (finally) for PC.
Some advertising material has leaked for Destiny 2. They also have PlayStation marketing on it, suggesting a partnership between Bungie and PlayStation will once again be in play. They will, however, remain accessible to you in Destiny 1. The full sentence about the Beta is cut off so it’s uncertain exactly what the poster meant by mentioning it. Stick around for more news as it comes! This time though it concerns Destiny 2. With over 25 million registered players having poured over two billion hours into the original game, Destiny hasn’t exactly struggled to gain interest. The first game only has towns, outposts, and quests.
