‘Running Joe Budden’ Meme Blows Up Online

Joe Budden frightened two fans of rival rapper Drake by angrily chasing them away from his home. Clearly wanting to antagonise the rapper, the male fans showed up to Budden’s house on 25 July and began heckling the musician.

In a video, shared online, a fan is seen running up on Budden, as he prepares to pull out of his driveway. Later, the two men return to Budden’s house and diss the rapper by standing outside yelling, “OVO, b–hes!” It all went south when the New Jersey native actually chased the kids down, first on foot, then, eventually catching them with his vehicle.

They filmed the whole encounter and put it on social media. Many believe this was a reference to the messy situation that occurred between Wu-Tang member Raekwon and Budden a few years ago. “I should’ve brought Joe Budden up here to let him do “Pump It Up” one time”, he said before going into the chorus of Budden’s single.

Meek Mill may be readying a retaliation towards Joe Budden with a diss track.

“He got so heated when I threw drake lyrics at him”.
