Russell Westbrook gets married; you’ll never believe what he wore

Westbrook, who probably recorded a triple double while walking up to the altar, will celebrate his wedding anniversary one day before another famous pair-Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union.

How exciting! Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook and his girlfriend of two years, Nina Earl, married in an outdoor ceremony on August 29. Several of Russell’s basketball pals were in attendance, including Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Serge Ibaka, Dorrell Wright and James Harden. In fact, Harden even brought with him a familiar face as his plus one: “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Khloe Kardashian. They’re college sweethearts! Now that they are married, they have plenty of time to honeymoon before the National Basketball Association season starts up again in late October. 2015! Both members of the basketball team of the university, Brooke and Earl quickly found common ground which clearly led to something more lasting over the weekend.

Once again, congratulations to Nina and Russell.

PEOPLE Magazine revealed that Earl wore two gowns for the occasion. The newlyweds also received a surprise performance from R&B royalty Keri Hilson and Grammy victor Miguel at around 11 p.m. Joanie and Leigh’s Cakes crafted the wedding cakes, while Mark’s Garden took charge of flower arrangements. No photos from the guests because they were asked to enjoy the event without cameras and phones, according to People.
