Russell Wilson Mourns Loss of Goddaughter
Aaron Rodgers did his best to spark a friendly rivalry between himself and Russell Wilson on Sunday night, and you’ll never guess whose side the Green Bay Packers quarterback’s brother is taking.
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist or a theologian to deduce that The Almighty doesn’t give a rat’s ass about football, I’m sure he has more pressing issues on His mind. Pete Carroll said it was just happenstance, because the Seahawks meant to get him the ball early and often. “I love it. Like I said, everybody’s entitled to their own opinion”.
On Thursday, Wilson was asked about Rodgers’ remarks. I just know that I am even further along my growth as a football fan and more importantly, as a person. “So he was taking care of us”.
Russell Wilson has yet to comment on the matter.
In two games this season-losses to the Rams and Packers-Wilson has completed 71.8 percent of his passes for 457 yards with three TDs, two interceptions and a 91.1 passer rating.
“The Packers quarterback told a local radio station at the time that he “[doesn’t] think God cares a whole lot about the outcome”. “He cares about the people involved, but I don’t think he’s a big football fan”.
“I think in terms of that comment and all that, everybody has the right to their opinion”, he said from the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton. Consider that just four of the 98 teams to play in the Super Bowl since the game originated in 1967 have started 0-2 – the 1993 Cowboys, 1996 Patriots, 2001 Patriots and 2007 Giants. “I think God cares about everything he created”.
