Earlier on Tuesday French law enforcers were reported to stop a bus carrying a group of 29 Russian football fans to Lille to see their national team’s second group stage match of the 2016 UEFA Euro Cup allegedly for inspection of their documents.

A report in BBC quoted a French prosecutor saying that 150 Russian football supporters “were well prepared for ultra-rapid, ultra-violent action” and were able to evade arrest.
