Russian Federation not considering France flights suspension: regulator
Russian aviation agency Rosaviatsia has banned all flights by Egypt’s state-owned flag carrier, EgyptAir, effective Saturday Nov.14, a Moscow Domodedovo airport official revealed Friday. Rosaviatsiya imposed the ban to make sure theat Egypt Air, which had been the only airline flying between the countries, meets safety requirements.
The Russian plane carrying tourists, which belonged to air company Kogalymavia, had been heading from Sharm el-Sheikh to the Russian city of St Petersburg when it crashed on October 31, killing all 224 people on board.
Kamal says the original tape will not be transported out of Egypt, which is leading the investigation alongside representatives from Russian Federation, France, Germany, and Ireland.
As investigators continue to try and determine what caused the crash of Russian Metrojet flight 9268, Egypt’s civil aviation minister said a recording that features a sound before the plane broke up in the air would be spent overseas to be analyzed, AFP reported Friday.

The investigation into the crash remains a mystery to many Egyptians, with little information available, Sayed added.
Russian airline association RAEVT has warned of the losses likely to result from having to suspend Egyptian flights indefinitely.
The incident prompted Russian Federation and a few other countries to impose severe restrictions on flights to and from Egypt, which have dealt a severe blow to Egypt’s tourism industry.
