Ryan Blaney: Wins at Kentucky Speedway
Today’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Kentucky 300 race has a start time schedule of 8:00pm eastern time and airs on TV channel NBCSN, the NBC Sports Network. “Kentucky Speedway is one of my favorite racetracks to visit, mainly because it’s competitive, a worn-out surface, and I’ve been able to win here before (in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series)”.
It would take a good push from the No. 7 Chevrolet and some drama on the green-white-checkered restart, but Blaney would prove up to the task. Ryan Reed, who won the Crosley Brands 150, qualified 19th for the Xfinity Series event looking to sweep the weekend in Sparta. Therefore, with no Sprint Cup drivers making Saturday cameos (and either improving or stinking up the show depending on your viewpoint), the young talent of which the developmental divisions of NASCAR is famous for had the spotlight all to themselves. When another late caution gave Blaney an opportunity for retribution, he made sure to capitalize.
Points leader Grant Enfinger was 12th. The top five are rounded out by Regan Smith and Elliott Sadler. More followed after the race with an ungainly slanging match with Darrell Wallace Jr. The race can also be viewed as a live stream online. He’s looking for his first victory. The next decade of Sprint Cup competition is in safe, aggressive, and fearless hands.
