Ryan Lochte ‘in talks’ to join ‘Dancing With The Stars’
On the celebrity side of the ballroom, ET revealed on August 25 that Little Women: LA star Terra Jole has signed on to compete.
Jolé has starred on every season of Lifetime’s Little Women: LA.
While it hasn’t been officially announced yet, Us Weekly is reporting that it’s on.
Among the professional dancers who will be returning is Gleb Savchenko, who competed with “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump in season 16.
Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte might be trading in his swimming gear for sparkly costumes and dance shoes. Of course, that might not happen anymore.
“I would love to do Dancing with the Stars, but so far we have a three-month tour after this Olympics”, Simone said at the P&G Family Home in Rio. The Sturm und Drang might be very good for ratings.
Since Lochte’s fabrication, all four of his sponsors dropped him. In addition, the rumor mill has stated that Amber Rose might also be joining the cast this season.
The 32-year-old swimmer is actually in talks to join the next cast of celebrities that will be featured on the upcoming edition of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” according to PEOPLE. Alas, we don’t know if she’s accepted that offer just yet.
The swimming champ generated worldwide controversy when he falsely claimed that he and three other American swimmers had been pulled over and mugged by armed robbers with police badges on in Rio de Janeiro during the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Another returning pro is Emma Slater. Also returning are Artem Chigvintsev, Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber and Witney Carson, who won season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro.
Allison Holker is also coming back after taking time off to give birth, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy announced his return Thursday saying during an appearance on “Good Morning America” that he was “excited” to come back to the show.
