Ryan Phillippe Opened Up About His Divorce from His Ex-Wife Reese Witherspoon

“We Got Together So Young”- yes this is the cause that was probably responsible for the divorce of Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon. However, Reese and Ryan are on good terms and are friendly with each other.

Ryan opened up about their divorce while attending Larry King Now. Though the actor of “Secrets and Lies” did not totally revealed about their marriage but he did focus on one reason that was responsible for their split. He said, “I think more of the problem was age. When we got together we were so young.”

Phillippe, 40, met Reese when she was 21 only. He told, “I think it can create issues with two people in this industry because there’s so much noise that goes along with it.” However, Ryan did not forget to mention that they are friends and really very friendly now with each other. He also said they remained friendly when they raise their kids. Now their kids are growing up and their Ava is 15 now and son Deacon is 11.

He told King that he is not worried too much with his daughter’s dating. He said, “I grew up in a very, very female household so I have a real sensitivity with that connection with [Ava] because of that.” Ryan also said, “I don’t think she’ll suffer fools. She’s going to have high standards.”

When asking on his bad boy image he disregard that label and said, “I’m a pretty regular dude”. He also said,”I’m also a pretty dedicated dad and have multiple companies, so there’s not a lot of time for me to be a Hollywood bad boy.”

Well, we are happy to hear that Ryan and Reese are on good terms till now. And we are also happy that both of them have move on in their life with their new love.
