Ryan Reynolds dressed up as Deadpool and posed with trick or treaters
Until then, it’s up to Ryan Reynolds to foster an understanding of how this character is supposed to be played for the audience that may not have ever read a Deadpool comic book. Ryan Reynolds will play Deadpool, also known as the Merc with the Mouth. Reynolds recently posted a video showing what Deadpool was up to on Halloween. Reynolds’ eternally chatty antihero keeps his mouth running for nearly the entire video, prompting the miniature version of Wolverine to remark, “I really wish we could sew his mouth shut again” (a reference to his character’s fate in X-Men Origins: Wolverine).
So no guarantees on Ryan delivering man-on-man action in Deadpool, but it still looks like we’ve got a few fun to look forward to!
Based on the infamous gun-toting superhero in a red suit, the X-Men spin-off, Deadpool, is about a special forces operative named Wade Wilson who undergoes a odd experiment in an effort to cure his cancer.
A little girl dressed as Mystique takes a jab at Reynolds for a role in a previous superhero film. “Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who almost destroyed his life”, added IMDB. Check out both images below and start counting down the days till the film hits theaters on February 12, 2016. The second pic is a behind-the-scenes look at Reynolds in costume, chatting with Miller while filming on the Vancouver set.
Tim Miller is directing the movie from a script by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
(Gotta get that Fox money.) Naturally, said recruits are children in Halloween costumes, all too ready to give Reynolds shit for being in Green Lantern.
