Sachin who? British Airways trolled on Twitter for asking Tendulkar’s full name
It will be a hard task to find a person in India who does not know Sachin Tendulkar’s name. But his patience finally ran out after he received a few extremely shoddy service from British Airways.
Dismayed at British Airways making a mistake with a family member’s ticket and his baggage being mishandled en route to the U.S., Tendulkar took to Twitter to vent his frustration.
He was so upset that he attached the hashtag “NeveronBA” to his tweet.
The legend, who is arguably the best batsman in the history of cricket in terms of records, was bemused by the airlines’ irresponsible behaviour and added that his luggage was also tagged to a wrong destination.
This, he tweeted to the official handle of British Airways, made him “angry, disappointed and frustrated”.
“Angry Disappointed and Frustrated”.
The tweet indicates Tendulkar might shun using British Airways in the future – after this incident and over the carrier’s “don’t care attitude”.
Facing a PR disaster, the airline apologised and promised to take action.
Tendulkar took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to express his sentiments. “He is God of cricket!”, a user tweeted.
